NDDOT Starting Salary: $5,800 / month
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain executive schedules, including appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
• Organize in-person and virtual meetings, including logistics, technology, agendas, and materials.
• Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist with communications, correspondence, and legislative session coordination.
• Maintain records, file documents, and submit service and IT requests as needed.
• Handle confidential information with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
• Serve as a liaison for internal divisions and supporting agency-wide initiatives.
• Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies and managing office equipment.
• Maintain Level 2 procurement certification and serve as a Notary Public on behalf of the department.
Minimum Qualifications
• Associate degree or higher in office support, business, or office education and four years of relevant administrative experience; or 6 years of upper executive administration experience.
• Proven experience as an Executive Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams).
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Employment of the selected candidate will be contingent on satisfactorily completing the interview process, criminal history check, and a verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.
