We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to inspire and educate students in Fort Yates, ND.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and academic standards
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and supported
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Use technology to enhance instruction and student learning
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to help students achieve academic success
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- State teaching certification in Science (Middle School level)
- Experience working with middle school students
- Strong knowledge of science concepts and curriculum standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for inspiring young minds and fostering a love of learning
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and development
