Shop Hand
We are seeking a diligent shop hand to help with the day-to-day operations of our company. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance of all fleet vehicles, tools, equipment, errands/part running, hauling of equipment/material, and be responsible for cleaning and organizing the shop on regular basis. We are willing to work around complex schedules for students.
Shop Hand Responsibilities
Monitors shop condition, including cleanliness, safety, and the condition of shop equipment
Closely monitors all tool and equipment inventory in the shop and job sites
Routine travel to job sites to complete tool inventory
Ensure all equipment and tools are working properly
Maintain a safe work environment
Mobilize company trucks and trailers to job sites
Pick up tools, equipment, and material for jobs and deliver them to sites
Shop Hand Requirements
· High school diploma or GED
· Valid driver's license
· Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
· Good knowledge of safety equipment and supplies
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong leadership abilities
· Good time-management and problem-solving skills
· Willingness to work long hours and overtime, if needed
· Willingness to utilize company vehicles and pull carious trailers to job sites
